| A Journey to Bath | ![]() |
On 3rd November 1965, a group of school friends took the train from Glastonbury to Evercreech and Bath. They had an official permit to visit the locomotive depots at Bath (Green Park) at 11.00am. and Bristol (Barrow Road) at 3.30pm. In between, they made a quick (unofficial) visit to Severn Tunnel Junction depot. It was dark by the time they arrived back at Bath, for the return journey to Evercreech and Glastonbury.
