- to Walk in the Hills -
We are a small group of members, ex-members and friends of the Mendip Caving Group and Midland Association of Mountaineers. Our group has no formal constitution, and no other formal links with the MCG or MAM. In the past we have visited Snowdonia, the Cumbrian Hills, the Scottish mountains, the Alps, and other areas.
The name Cnicht has been used for this web site, after a Matterhorn-shaped hill near Porthmadog in North Wales. (It had to be either that or Roseberry Topping!).
For reports and photographs of past trips use the past visits index page, which has links to the illustrated reports.
