After collecting Martin from Patterdale youth hostel, we climbed Skiddaw in fine but windy weather.

This year we stayed at the Old School House in Carbost. Included in the party were Bill & Di, who spent their days diving around the coast, and kept us well supplied with crabs, clams and other fruits of the sea. Also there was Penny, enjoying a belated "honeymoon"!

Ian and Penny were in the area on holiday and took the chair lift up to the Carngorm. James was there, 4 months before birth, but he didn't quite get up all the steps to the summit.
